Photographer's Note
when we got to that pass, I felt I have been to so much passes in the past week, so I have to find some "theme" to take picture of.
As the pass was a very important stop at the "tour de france" a few weeks before, a lot of bike riders arive that point.
I took the camera and try to give the impresion I got from these guys as much as I could to the pictures.

Exellent sports motif. Amazing colours and interesting mountain landscape with cloudy sky. You have chosen the good position to shoted the pcyclist. Good sharpness. Good shot Gilad.

What a dynamic picture! Great use of wide angle, your choice of low shooting angle is beautiful. I would have prefer that the rider head would rise a bit more from the mountain top but that would mean sacrifying the view of the road so I think you have made an excellent compromise. The heavy vigneting does not interfere with the enjoyment of this beautiful picture at all. Great shot.

To me, this is a superb sports picture. I am a great fan of cycling in general and tour de france in particular. I like the fact that the rider seems to be making a really good effort to climb the mountain. The low point point of view enchances this feeling. The colours are great too. Well done!

There are 2 main reasons why I like this shot. Firstly because I think it is really well composed and is a very sharp and well saturated photo. And secondly, because I've cycled up there before, I know how hard it is. Great shot and great point of view!

Very nice, well framed and a good image. What happened to the sky on the left? It's very dark, did you use a polariser?

Great shot Gilad. Captured the moment well with the background, wide angle and long shadows.

Excellent composition with the very low angle - really allows you to participate in the cyclist's uphill struggle. Colors and scenery are great, and the light is wonderful. Great shot, Gilad.

We recognize that it is not the "tour de France" beceause there is no crowd! Either, this cylist is very well framed and the landscape behind is wonderful. You succed with that angle to give use the climbing impression. Well done!

Great action shot. I especially like the spot he is in: in the middle line of the mountain and of the crowd. Very impressive.

Dramatic, bold. Very well done. I have just a single technical nit, but it's a post-processing nit so I think you have a real winner here. You've got a bit of vignetting at the corners of the sky, but I think a minor burn/dodge would help.

A very effective low position of your camera. It adds a lot of power and action. I like it very much. A good sports shot. Very good job.
