Photographer's Note
Annecy is well represented on Trekearth, and rightly so because is it a charming and photogenic town. It was Trekearth photos that first aroused my interest in Annecy. It was high on my list of places to visit when I went to France. This is a photo taken in late afternoon light showing the facades of buildings, with their wooden shuttters, in the old town centre.

Hello Vincent,
I really like how you focused on the façades here with a very nice variety of details like the shutters and lamps as well as several appealing colours, brought out well by the light. Good work.

Hello Vincent. This is just the TE motto: Learn.... Quite often it happens, that I see some pictures and then I think: I must go there to see with my own eyes and lenses. It deserves the visits. But I haven't been there. Wonderful composition.
Is it a very high peak on the left side?
Best regards MAlgo

Hello Vincent,
You have captured a most interesting view of the buildings, revealing their eclectic facades.
The buttresses suggest that these tall buildings need some support, though they have been introduced quite tastefully.
You timed it well, when the sunlight is highlighting the facades and creating shadows for a 3D effect.
My good wishes to you for a safe and happy 2021, Bev :-)
