Photographer's Note

A group of tourists is preparing to enter in Annecy City Hall for a cultural visit. The beautiful wet expanse in front of it offers the opportunity to capture the brilliant reflections.
In the WS a classic view of the facade.
The town hall of Annecy is a fine example of the neoclassical architecture that develops on the Savoy territories between 1815 and 1860 while they belong to the kingdom directed by the King of Sardinia, head of the House of Savoy.
In the first half of the 19th century, when Annecy was part of the Kingdom headed by the King of Sardinia, head of the House of Savoy, the municipality launched the project to build a new town hall
In 1836, the municipal council asked the Geneva architect Samuel Vaucher-Crémieux for a development project. It is finally abandoned because of its importance.
The Sardinian neoclassical architecture
In 1846, the plan of the present town hall was adopted. Designed by François Justin, its architecture is characterized by imposing proportions and in particular its central forepart with its monumental columns and triangular pediment. All these elements link the edifice to the group of the numerous neoclassical architectures supported by the kingdom of Sardinia.
In 1995, to accompany the creation of an underground car park, the layout of the Town Hall Square was realized on the initiative of the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte who proposed in particular an overflow basin.

un' immagine molto originale ed affascinante, hai fatto il meglio del riflesso omogeneo e chiaro ma anche del attimo sfuggente, la scena cosi ben "orchestrata" nella parte superiore. Colori, contrasti e prospettive colpiscono istantaneamente. La foto "classica" nel workshop dimostra in maniera meravigliosa com' e' graziosa ed effettiva la ricerca dell' originalita'. What a great view you had to appreciate the building, the people and the reflection.
In my opinion, you have cropped the scene perfectly, capturing the animation of the people but letting us gather the details of the City Hall from the reflection. Its shimmering appearance gives a very artistic impression.

this is a very creative composition. I felt confused at the beginning and it is a sign of an original composition. You have perfectly used the reflection here and included the people as squeezed between the architecture and the fountain.
The resulting effect is very impressive.

This is a clever shot, which I couldn't make out from the thumbnail, but which becomes clear when you see the larger version. Reflections always make interesting photos, and here you've managed to combine that with the figures across the top of the frame, which adds another intriguing element.
