Photographer's Note
On appelle parfois la vielle ville d'Annecy la "Venise des Alpes" . Le quartier établi autour du canal du Thiou (petite rivère de 3 km de long , déversoir du lac d'Annecy se jetant dans le Fier) n'est pas bien grand , mais très pittoresque , avec ces maisons fleuries , ses ponts ... et une affluence touristique conséquente .

Hello Denis,
One of the most attractive towns in France in my opinion and one with a charm all of its own. A very pleasant view along the river captured on a lovely sunny day. I like the lights and colours and the summery atmosphere.

Quelle belle ville. J'aime quand il y a de l'eau et des canaux dans une ville. Un très beau point de vue avec de belles maisons colorées. Comme toujours, netteté et profondeur agréable.

Canal, pont et façades colorées, on s'y croirait presque à Venise.
Le cadrage est bien choisi pour une belle perspective contrastée.

Une très belle photo de cette "Venise savoyarde" que tu as su mettre en valeur par un choix judicieux du point de vue, en nous donnant envie de la découvrir. La luminosité est très belle, le rendu des couleurs magnifique. L'ensemble donne une image très agréable à regarder.

Hello Denis, I have heard that Annecy is a charming town, I had not pleasure to see it. So many different Venices are in the world. So this is Venice of the Alps! Looks very pretty.

Annecy's "Venise des Alpes" does perhaps remind one of a smaller canal version, and stimulating architecture, box gardens, and probably fine cafes.

Bonjour Denis,
Belle vue de ce célèbre canal et de ses maisons pittoresques qui le bordent. Il doit faire bon se promener sur ses quais, surtout hors saison, quand les touristes ne sont plus là ! Le cadrage est excellent, le point de vue, bien trouvé.
