Photographer's Note
I had gone next door to pick up a key from the couple who were renting a vacation apartment to myself and some family. While our guest host went to the kitchen to retrieve the key I noticed her daughter out on the balcony having an afternoon café. Since I was prepared to leave directly from there I already had my camera in hand, so I thought I’d take a quick shot. The bright mid-day sun made a great opportunity for a silhouette.
Fortunately she didn’t catch me taking the photo, I’m guessing I would have received a rather stern look otherwise! Just a lucky moment to catch this scene played out while I was waiting.

Sneaking on people, always give a surprise-factor, lucky you were not caught...

un ottimo scatto che a me piace perchè hai saputo sfruttare al meglio la bella situazione.
Un bel soggetto colorato che con la finestra ha una bella cornice naturale e con la presenza umana si carica di ulteriore suggestione che evita la monotonia.
Buona la gestione della luce ed ottimi nitidezza e colore.

Hello Jason - What a super shot and all the better that you took it on the fly with the sitter unaware of your presence. Hi Jason,
this one has really unique,kind of intime and relaxing atmosphere.And you´ve managed to convey it here excellently.I like such scenes(I took also very similar photo in Barcelona while sitting in a cafe with Juan).
You were also able to master perfectly the light-the contrast between dark FG and so nicely illuminated BG is great.But what I enjoy the most are these reflections in the windows.Superbly composed image!

Hello Jason, this is quite a nice image. Hmm, cafe in Nice sounds so tempting. Good mood in your composition. I also like the facade of the building in the background. Good shadow/light interpretation or should i say inside/outside. Good job.

The dark living room is an excellent frame for the beautiful view in sunny Mediterranean colours.
The young lady, the table and the chairs look almost like silhouettes, well contrasting with the bright colours behind.

Hey Jason - I'm out of critiques for the day, but wanted to comment on this one, which is really well seen and nicely done with very little time. Great eye to see this one and capture it in one quick take. There's always a bit of a thrill in finding that shot without being noticed; interesting that this moment will live on for you far far longer than it did for her! Nicely done.

A delightful composition, which conveys a charming atmosphere of tranquility and calm, I love the girl backlight on the terrace and the reflections in the windows of the balcony, the colorful facade of the house at the back gives great strength to the image.
