Photographer's Note

This picture was taken on the same trip as my Louvre shot. It was actually a climbing trip to Provence but we stopped over a few days in Paris on the way.

This was where we lived in Provence, in the beautiful village of Lourmarin (population 1100). The house we lived in, like alot of the houses in this village, occupied very little ground. Instead it was build on the height. This house had 5 floors, but each one of them was just one room, first floor was entrance, with store room and toilet(modern addition), second was the kitchen, 3rd living room and the two last floors where bedrooms. Interesting, considering that the house was very old.

This picture is shot from mine and my friends bedroom on the top floor, it shows the outskirts of Lourmarin with the 16th century Castle in the background.
