Hello Jean,

To show the same scene, but at different times of the year, is very enlightening! I would be stuck to say which I like better! The snow does change the mood and the beauty of the land, like wearing a silver cloak, but the autumn scene adds warmth.
Perhaps it was better to post them together as they have equal merit!

Hi Jean.
Excellent, this double composition of the same place, it is totally different, since the lake has frozen and covered it with snow, it looks like a plain and the mountains behind, even the first slopes that we saw with grass are now not distinguished.
Point of view, sharpness, lightness, color and the chosen composition are excellent.

A nice duo of images illustrating the differences between Autumn and winter at the same location. Autumn is the better time to visit imho. Looks like a giant eye! Tfs!

Le cadrage est ici légèrement différent (je chipote) , mais une fois de plus une très belle comparaison , il ne manque plus que le paysage estival.

Hello Jean,
The lake has disappeared entirely underneath the large amount of snow. Only a gentle outline can still be seen. Two very good photos showing the differences between autumn and winter very well.

Great ideas getting these shots of same location from diff seasons and putting them together in a pretty combo. The colours are bright which increases the visual effectiveness, crisp and each is excellent in its own right. Good stuff

Hi Jean,
A beautiful view in both autumn and winter. The lake is colourful in autumn and makes a great photographic subject. Great sharpness and excellent exposure in both photos. A good idea to present the two photos as a montage.

Salut Jean - Saint.

These two shots reflect upon a short period of the year, maybe a couple of months apart, but the difference is visible on the ground and surroundings. High elevation always gets fresh blanket of snow first, the landscape in both showings is equally breathtaking. Very well done, great sharp collage, thanks for sharing.

wonderful post, its very easy to see why so many TE members have already made comments on this one. Obviously both shots and scenes are beautiful in their own way, but the autumn version just has to be the better of the two. great to have the people down there as well, for scale. awesome
