Hello Jean,
This is a marvellously well "designed" lake. It looks like an eye with the reflection of a mountain staring at us like a huge pupil. The colours of the entire scenery are very nice.

Hello Jean,
I would imagine, especially from your notes, that this crescent is only in evidence in autumn.
It looks like a golden edged mirror, almost art nouveau with its curled, organic design.
You have added a most interesting b/g for the setting, too!

Most probably low water level in this cistern had made the "island" visible, Jean.

Bonjour Jean, you gained a good height so as to enable this lovely view of this unusual feature.
The reflection of the mountain on the water is beautifully framed by the yellow coloured vegetation.

yes indeed it looks quite extraordinary and it is hard to guess whether it is just a top layer of plants swimming on the surface or the river made a funny turn here, as if being indecisive.
Beautiful panoramic view adds to this extraordinary foreground.

When I saw it in small it seemed to me an eye, what quirks nature has, it really is a small lake, it has a very curious shape, with which it perfectly welcomes the reflections from the top of the mountain.
Very nice coloring, which good sharpness and lighting, gives great quality to the image.

Hello Jean,
A beautiful mountain landscape with some pointy and snowy peaks in the background. The gentler slopes and the small lake with that remarkable orange circle in the middle are seen in a fine, soft sunlight.

Quite special little pond high up on mountains. C-shaped pattern of water plants looks quite funny. And you captured the mountain top right in the middle. Those walk paths look quite inviting.
