Grafitti on cactus in the gardens of the Le Musée d’Art Moderne de Collioure, Pyrénées-Orientales, Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
This image is in celebration of St. Valentine's Day. I'm far too old now to expect any romantic interest (when I wished my wife a Happy Valentine's Day just now, she looked at me in a very old-fashioned way). But I'm not so old that I can't share vicariously the excitement and hope of young lovers everywhere...
I wonder how Pascal and Monique got on, and where they are now.

Hello Will,
An unusual and rather prickly Valentine's card. I like the framing and exceptional clarity. Very good control over depth of field to isolate it from the background. Well spotted.

Hi Will,interesting and original way to builth the S.Valentine's postcard,i seen sometimes things like that on trees and leaves but i never thought to take a pic...impressive macro very sharp and bright,i like it! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Long time no hear, but live is keeping me busy and with not getting any notification mails from TE anymore the site has simply slowly slipped from my mind.
As you I am past the age of expecting anything from Valentines day, my wife would simple laugh at me if I would try something. Better to give special attention every day of the year.
But I must admire Pascal and Monique for their effort of carving a cactus leave this intricately.

A nice Valentine's photo, just as romantic as any couple at sunset and certainly more original. The green and yellow with something scribbled on it caught my attention already as a thumbnail.

A photograph pertinent for the day and what a lovely Valentine's message! The message will grow with the plant and maybe, the couples love will grow, too!

Didn't she ask 'are you okay?' :) As for me, this year I bought a Practica B100 to my girlfriend, since she said she would like to try photography more seriously. It's an ideal present, if her enthusiasm won't last long I will have another nice camera.
