Tjibaou Culture center
The center was designed by architect Renzo Piano and was built from 1995 to 1997 (opened in 1998).
Ten "huts" (different size) evoke traditional kanak architecture.
It includes a large garden with local plants and trees described along a kanak path with a strong relationship of kanak culture with nature.
