Hi Patrick, I like certain elements of your shot but just thought I'd try a workshop. The main thing I think was to simply crop the shot to focus it a touch. Thanks, Don.

Catching those birds was very lucky; more so that they're all perfectly silhouetted with their wings out and not obstructing anything. They have turned an ordinary sunset into a marvellous, dynamic scene. I like the shades of orange that the sunset has rendered the distant mountains. My only major criticism is the tilted horizon, it's a bit too noticible. On the whole, well seen and executed.

Bien que l'horizon soit incliné sur la gauche, cette composition en contre-jour est SUPERBE! Les silhouettes du parasol et des oiseaux en plein vol ainsi que les montagnes se détachant en plusieurs couches sont franchement du plus bel effet. D'autant plus que les éléments dans la photo sont bien équilibrés (jetée, exposition, montagnes en ligne d'horizon). Quel dommage cette inclinaison car en corrigeant ce défaut (facilement gommable) vous auriez, je pense, fait explosé la critique.
