Eclipse de boeuf - Ox eclypse
The Grande Terre offers many paths and trails in the interior and along its coasts. This one leads from Porte d'Enfer to Pointe Petit Nègre (north-eastern Grande Terre) walking on spectacular 30-40m tall cliffs alternating with bays and promotories, always facing the Atlantic Ocean. In the last part you have to leave the coast to get back on the main road walking through sugar cane fields and nothing else: just some "boeuf" grazing here and there.
This photo was taken at the sunset, with shadows getting very long; this "boeuf" reminded me that famous kind of panel with a bull's silhouette you can always find in Spain.

Et en dehors de ce trait d'humour, reste une belle photo où le contre jour est maitrisé et les ombres sont nettes.

I don't know how I missed this one when it was posted. A very nice photo that is perfected by its creative (and very appropriate) title.
I think it's very important that you left so much sky in the image... it wouldn't have worked so well if you had trimmed out the sky and focussed in too closely on the ox.
