Photographer's Note
I was getting out of the subway and I suddenly saw this view on the station. I found it funny : a little as if you were not going to find the exit.
But I made it !!

Nicely taken in a graphic way. And yes it does seem like you're going to be stuck in the subway from this point of view. Although it also has a nice movement that, when you look carefully, gives a clear path to the exit. You have the escalators going up here and then the lines on the other side and finally the stairs and escalators on in the distance. It's a play of movement in and out of the frame that lets the mind imagine ways of getting out of this abstract maze. The arches add nice breaks to the straight lines in the shot. Perhaps just skewing it a bit and correcting for the perspective distortion as well as some added contrast could boost the graphic quality of this image. Certainly nicely seen and taken, though.

Bien cordialement,
Emmanuel
