Photographer's Note

Here a new photograph taken in the underground career located in Paris area. By looking at these pillars of soutellement, I found that there was a certain similarity with the site neolitic of Stonehenge.

Obviously the comparison stops there because the career is much more recent: there are when same arches going back to 1762.

The exposure time is a bulb one: more than 3 minutes. The lighting is carried out thanks to 2 acetylene torches (which give these hot colors) like with blows of flash (with a blue gelatine) for the foreground.

Thanks in advance for your comments.
