De part sa situation géographique au confluent de l'Oise et de la Seine et grâce au développement industriel lors du 19ème siècle, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine s'est imposée comme la Capitale de la Batellerie.
Ainsi, la ville dispose aujourd'hui d'un patrimoine fluvial d'une grande richesse et demeure un port d'attache cher aux mariniers.

A strong image and a splendid sunset and just love how the light is sparkling sofly on the water engulfed by orange tone with the dipping sun is out of sight. Indeed an eye catching shot, nicely framed with excellent diagonal. The working barge brings live on the river with the birds are real icng on the cake. Worth mentioning that you also managed to retain soome nice detail in the silhoutted areas which is a definate plus point there, however i do feel that portion of the dak negative space at the botom can be cropped as it serves nor purpose here. Its a greta shot my friend, Congrats TFS

Ooh la la! These are the colours that remind me of the Arno in Firenze. But they are those of another iconic river, your enchanting Seine. From any angle, this river is a romance, but in this light is ethereal. The warm light of the sky, contrasts so well with the blue silvery light of the water. I love the diagonal lines and the absolute sharpness.

Hello Aubin - The strong contrasts of the bridge and FG detail work so well to accentuate the fabulous colour in the sky and soft reflections in the river. A peaceful shot with a strong diagonal sweep of river, the two birds are so well placed in the frame and bring a good balancing detail. Warm regards rosemary

Bonjour Vincent
Tu nous présentes le Paris (même si c'est pris à Conflans!) des poètes, avec ce coucher de soleil brumeux, la Seine en diagonale qui serpente entre les 2 rives déjà dans l'ombre, et les 2 pigeons qui viennent saluer le photographe.
