Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in the North of France, in a small town called Honfleur. The place is a little pearl; it looks like a fairy tale location, sunsets being absolutly fantastic.
Being the most beautiful country in the world, France would need a lifetime to reveal all of its wonders. However, if you're ever going to Normandie, I recommend visiting this place.

Adi,
I like your composition here showing the line of boats on one side of the harbour and the buildings on the other. The reflection creates nice depth and balance. The lighting and colors are nice with good sharpness and details. It's too bad you could not have been there when a blue sky could have been captured.

For living near Honfleur, you are right, this is a lovely town, even if as your photo proves it, the weather is bad.
Personnaly, I like this grey sky which gives a special mood at your composition.
The choice of this POV is very well seen. Seeing the nice houses through the masts it's a good idea.
However, I hope you don't mind but I tried a WS on your picture to emphasize the reflection.
Last point, Honfleur is located in Basse Normandie, not in "haute" as you have notified it ;o)

Bravo pour cette photo.
Habituellement c'est l'autre coté du bassin qui est présenté avec le classique reflet des maison dans l'eau, cette fois tu présente un coté moins connu et surtout moins souvent présenté avec un reflet dans les eaux du bassin. La lumière est bonne et le ciel (très normand) ne manque pas d'intéret. Bon premier plan à droite avec la proue des bateaux.

Hello Adi,
Certainky a good composition with the diagonal lines of houses and boats. The reflections in the water are nice, too. I don't agree with those who always ask for a blue sky. Clouds create a different kind of atmosphere and grey weather bring out the colours much better and give you nice, soft pictures.

J'aime beaucoup ce ciel menaçant qui donne une très belle ambiance à cette photo.
La composition en miroir est superbe et permet d'appréhender à la fois le petit port, les bateaux et la ville. Une belle vue d'ensemble.
