Photographer's Note

From the Mezenc, on the border of the French regions Auvergne and the Ardeche, one can have a spectacular view of the Alps, including Europe's highest mountain, the Mont Blanc.
While skiing, or doing some cross countrying, you definitely have to have your camera with you. Compact or pro, you can get magnificent shots.

Did quite a lot of PP in both Ligtroom and Photoshop though:
reframed the picture
added vignetting
boosted contrast
added gradient filter to darken the sky
added brush stroke to live up the Alps
exposure plus
brightness a bit plus
sharpness of course
reduces some noise (compact camera's shooting in JPG tend to have far more noise than RAW-capable camera's)
added gradient filter to brighten up tha snow on the foreground after vignetting, to give the wole picture some more depth
