Photographer's Note
In the Auvergne, France, there used to be a lot of railways. Nowadays, the majority of them are not in active use anymore. Some are, but mainly as a tourist attraction.
This deserted little station I found while walking this morning, in the National park Livradois Forez. It is one of those tiny little railway stations, not in active use, that you can see a lot around here. In this case, 'here' is near the tiny village Fontannes. Beautiful surroundings, lots of trees, rocks, acres, and a lot of tranquility.
PP: in Lightroom selected BW Antique Light, changed the contrast, cropped the frame, added grain, sharpened, added contrast, after that in Photoshop: resized, added the frame, and did almost the same post-processing steps again... anyway, just learned that you have to resize first, and then do your adjustments...
:-)
Cheers,
Tom
