Fall colors are at them best around Oulu beween end of september and beginning of october.
The water situation of many rivers is extraordinary low this year. Here on this picture this is Koiteli rapid (a panoramic made from 2 shots stiched with photostich). The rapids are situated about 20 km from Oulu in the East. This is only one quarter of the river Kiiminkijoki since the river is divided into 4 parts. Usually there is a flow of about 40 m3/sec for this period, but because of a very dry summer and despite a normal fall the flow of the river is about 10m3/sec only...

The grey, foggy sky, the black water and the magnificent colours of the autumnleaves to the right and the coloured grass in the left front: a perfect composition.

The composition is good and the stitching went very well. The colors could be more saturated.

Great fall shot, which conveys the mood of that season quite well. I actually think the saturation is alright, if it was anymore saturated, the colors would look a bit fake IMO.
