Hello Kari,
you show a scene, we don´t have too often in Germany. Some weeks ago, the "Alster" in Hamburg was frozen, and there was organized a festival on the ice, with Glühwein, grilled sausage and music, and thousands of people came to enjoy it. But the Alster is tiny in comparison to lake Näsijärvi, and you saw more people than ice, on your picture it is the other way round.
I would prefer a quiet walk on a finnish lake!

È una scena tanto bella quanto inusuale, per me che abito in Sicila al caldo, quella che ci proponi. Fare attività sportiva in una vasta distesa di ghiaccio per poi andare al caffè a prendere qualcosa di caldo dev'essere un momento molto piacevole.

Bonjour Kari,
c'est magnifique, pas étonnant que Santa Claus et ses rennes semblent venir de là-bas. C'est assez minimaliste et pas mal original.

Hi Kari!

Very interesting story and winter scene as well. Love the feel of endless snow surrounding this people. So what's that in the middle? Does the people drink cafe and enjoy the sun out there? Interesting how people put out a temporary coffee shop in the middle of the lake! I bet the feeling is unexplainable. About the crop, I agree with Way. I use MAC, the photo has a soft touch, but reasonable clear enough. For me, the workshop he did was just right, the sharpness wasn't overdone. ANyway, TFS!
