Photographer's Note
Näsinneula observation tower at sunset, shot from 12th floor balcony from a distance of about 10 km.
Näsinneula was built in 1971 and has the height of 168 m. There's a revolving restaurant on the altitude of 124 metres.
Lights on the top of the tower tell about the weather. Two greens and one yellow suggest rain showers.

It is a dusk of an incomparable beauty. It enchants the composition and the control to me of exhibition so that the sun does not "burn" the photo. You could explain your technique. Thanks.

Lovely composition to let the sky have all its space, the colors are simply blissful and the tower a silhouette, but still with the green light (which ties it perfectly with the note :D).

Hi Kari,
I am glad that and You like scenes westerly of the sun. The truth that are beautiful? The beautiful picture wherein thanks to the long focal length of used lens succeeded to show You the mood of this moment. The unusual colouring this mood strongly brings out. Very well spread elements of the scene became here the base of the fantastic composition. The very successful removal photo!

Hello Kari, One of the very fiew sunsets I've seen of one of the most northern part of the world!
What a beauty and superb colours on a fiery sky. And the large circle of the sun that appears to me as always being this big.
Simple composition and so catchy! The tower on one side which brakes the horizontal line.
Very well done! Often, the simplest the composition, the higher the impact. Doesn't it?

Lovely sunset with the semi-circle, the interesting clouds and the silhouette well placed on the right. The green light is an original touch. Of course I like the colour of the sky.

Hi Kari,
You Lucky! I've never seen the sun so big except in movies... :)
you managed to get a good half of the sun, and that silhouette of the tower is simply a BIG plus to this image.
It has to be one of my * FAVORITE PICTURES *
