First snow came few days ago. Yesterday morning went for a walk in my neighbourhood and captured this scene of a small stream running (slowly) to the Gulf of Finland.

Hello Pekka,
What a magnificent instance of a first snow. The symmetric perspective has created a memorable winter scene. I was on a cruise in the Baltic and visited Helsinki briefly last August. The scenery was far different, but I like this better than any than any that I captured.

Hello Pekka,
Brrr...this seems so cold already. (I know you're used to lots more, but bear with me...) The reflection seems surreal, as if they are real trees growing there. Magical landscape, a bit Chinese...or would that be pushing it? Probably yes.

Heloo Pekka - I like the minimal simplicity of this shot. Good fine detail is delicately presented and there is a nice natural symmetry in your image. Best reagards Rosemary

Hi,
Snow is forecast for parts of the UK this week so this image reminds us of what might come. A peaceful scene with nicely captured reflections and makes me feel cold!
