Photographer's Note
First a sunset, now swans... I'm apparently getting more and more tacky by the day!
I do, however, like the minimalistic composition of it all. The fact that the rocks, not the birds, are in the foreground makes it somewhat untraditional.
The shot is from the same time and place as my 'Misty Morning' .
I have done nothing to it excpet levels so i am very responsive to suggestions for postproccessing.

You are right, the minimalistic composition makes it all. I ran it through NeatImage and it did remove some grain in it but also the very tiny waves of color in yours and I prefer it as it is.

Great photograph. The soft tones and minimalist approach appeal to me. Tighter cropping (bottom off perhaps) might further increase the feel?
Very nice all over though.

Very well done!
Nice way to make a "different" photo of the swans, giving them "a second role" in this wonderful composition!

Delightfully bizarre image! I agree wtih you about the minimalist composition being inviting. Unique perspective on a cliche shot makes this a good photo in my book.
