Photographer's Note
The extreme inland ice on Greenland daily releases ice into the sea. This fantastic and beautiful iceberg starts its journy south with the ocean currents, from the Icefiord in Disko Bay near Ilulissat in Greenland.
The Icefiord produces at the moment 70km3 ice each year which is approx. the same as 12% of what USA (63 millon tons) uses in one year.
The icebergs can travel for long distanses following the ocean currents. One iceberg observed from this area was located outside the Azores.

Hi Joar!!!
Nice iceberg and very nice picture. I like the soft reflexion in the dark waters, and the white ice against the dark sky. I would prefer to cut a bit the picture to concentrate the attention on the ice, but the picture is still very nice.
Best Regards
