I love train shots (though I've not posted any, and this works very well with the slightly misty look,a nd the railway yard lights give it just the right feel. I'd have liked a few notes. (Why 'lost'?)

reminds me of a train station I was once in - in india (Punjab) - only much more beautiful

There is a mystifying vigilance about train stations at night that comes across very powerfully in the photo. The vigilance is in the lights, and the mystification is in the total absence of people. The fog amplifies this character, maybe because it breaks down the distinction between darkness and light. The shot reminds me of some of those "off-hours" cityscapes by Atget, but also of a night of fitful sleep when I rode a train from Budapest to Praha.

This pic manages to evoke warm and cold feelings. Looks to me it is cold temperature-wise, but the misty light is very colourful and gives this scene a warm touch. I like the atmosphere. Well done.

I really adore this picture. The atmosphere is stunning; the colours and fog are really great. Good composition. I would give this one more than 2 points, but that's not possible.

How did i miss this one Jiri??!! Wow..what a great atmosphere here..the light levels are great, the scene is really misterious, looks like it come out from an old policial mouvie or something. Wonderful job :)

Cette photo est incroyable, presque effrayante tant elle est mystérieuse... Et cette lumière venue de nulle part qui perce le brouillard. Comme Desman, seul les bâtiments me gênent... Mais ce n'est pas une raison pour ne pas donner 2 points!

Ahoj,
koukal jsem dneska na tve fotky i na tvuj webik... mam rad, kdyz se nekdo umi divat kolem sebe a nachazi vsednost obycejnych veci tak jako ty.. ano fotka je zpusob jak videt tento svet, je to okamzik zastaveni, ktery v nas zustava je mikrosekundu... kazdy den jsou kolem nas pribehy, neskutecne obrazy a foceni nas mozna uci nespechat ... naprikald tve nadrazi je nfoceno tak, ze mne evokuje chlad, odcizeni, dlouhe cekani, paletu zapachu )))
mne se libi a dokonce moc ...
s usmevem mik

Gorgeous shot... The fog creates an eerie, dr eam-like feel to it. I love how the sepia tone lighting also gives it a beautiful antique look from the past.
