Photographer's Note
This timbered grange from Zelejov -- a small village near Jicin below the Krkonose Mountains -- is the last building of Kourim open-air museum I show you for the time being. All other exhibits were situated up sun during my visit and I have to come back in the morning some day.
The grange was built in Zelejov in 1660 as a part of larger homestead. It was moved to Kourim skansen in 1977. Its ground plan is polygonal, low timbering lies on a base wall made of sand-stone blocks and its steep roof is made of 5,000 straw thatches.
I'm posting a detail in full resolution into the WS for anyone who is interested.

Bonjour Marek,
on quitte la ville pour aller vers les campagnes.
Ce sont vraiment de superbes couleurs, pour colorer un merveilleux paysage, malheureusement soumis à des températures très froides en hiver je suppose.
Un joli ciel très prometteur et encourageant pour une journée de photos.
Bon cadrage, proportionné.

This Skansen seems quite big ! Whit a lot of space aroung the houses, whereas the one in Stockholm is more "concentrated". Interesting to see those differences !

This grange is my favorite so far.
First class composition with superb point of view.
Colours and details are simple amazing.
I like the variety of presented houses. Such open-air museum are very helpful for getting knowledge of Our Fathers' life.

This reminds me of the Asturian horreos.
It is a kind of ancient house, it seems to be older than 1660, only by the aspect.

Hi Marek.
A simple but very effective scene. The warm grass colour evokes the mood of summer, as does the pale blue sky and fluffy cloud. The timbered grange is most interesting and is nicely balanced by both the trees to the left and the little fence to the right. Well captured and portrayed.

Very nice shot with depth and contrasted colors, the warm tones of the building stand out very well among the cold tones all around, grass trees and sky.
