Photographer's Note
I have written here in detail about the interesting and long history of the castle Krivoklat with some previous photos - I will not repeat it.
This is the evening view from the south. Originally I wanted to do a test photo for another picture, but finally the shot looks quite interesting with dark clouds. It was a terrible wind, and so the branches in the foreground are blurred due to long exposure.

I know this Castle well, visited here a few years ago and loved this place.
you have yourself an excellent pov, with the winding road on the left, the blue/grey clouds and the sweet lighting on the castle walls.

Hello Jan, this shot has quite an eerie feel to it with the castle set against the darkening sky.
The castle looks very impressive, lit up as it is, and standing looking down over the village and the road.

Hi Jan,
A mighty castle and a beautiful image of it. As I look at the winding road thought the town down low, and then follow it up the hill and into the castle, I cannot help but think of castle Dracula and how this place occupies a similar imposing place on the hill. The active cloudy sky adds to the horror movie film too. Beautiful photo.
