Photographer's Note
This is the oldest building in Bohemia preserved until today. The church of St. Peter was founded in the late 9th century (only rotunda is original, the tower and chancel were built later). At that time there was one of the forts of Premyslides around. St. Ludmila brought up her grandson St. Wenceslas here, gave him first education and led him to Christianity.
This place has been inhabited since prehistoric times.

Belle prise de vue de cette vieille église au milieu du cimetière. Les arbres forment un beau cadre à la photo. J'aime bien le point de vue qui montre bien l'environnement du bâtiment. Beau contraste des couleurs. Bien fait. Bonne journée.

I am always attracted by red roofs against a blue sky. There is also a fine depth here with the trees as foreground. A very beautiful little church here.

Hello Jan,
for such an old church it still looks amazingly good. I love the surroundings: the trees and the bushes which make this scene prettier and more interesting. Very nice warm autumn light and natural colors.
