Photographer's Note
A new sculpture appeared on the Vltava river opposite the Prague castle. It expresses the attitude of some artists to the undemocratic policy of the new President. It is the work of David Cerny (known for his satirical sculpture Entropa).

Hello Jan,
This is definitely a strange sight against the beautiful Prague architecture! I think that's the largest middle finger I've ever seen! The size and the purple color clearly stand out, and it looks like it's made out of large toy bricks. Behind this different work of art, the view of the city is very nice. :-)

Hi Jan,
Thank you for the kind compliment regarding my Golden Gate Bridge picture today. It's been a pleasure getting to know your work, and with a good sense of humor in mind, this is one is impossible to resist. I guess the visual itself pretty much sums it up, yeah? :) It's a great color to contrast against the rest of the scene, and a very intriguing and eye-catching subject for sure. A great idea to post, well done. Have a good day ahead.
All the best,
Jason

hello, even without reading your note I would recognize the style of david cerny. when i was in prague in february i mainly looked for his unusual works. But this one hasn't been there yet. he uses here similar idea like in peeing men - the slices. Strange shot, it looks unreal,as a photomontage. Thanks for sharing.
Warm regrads Malgo
