Photographer's Note
The Municipal house is Prague's most prominent Art Nouveau building. It was built on the site of the old Royal Court Palace between 1905-1911. The inside is even better than the outside and contains many works of art specially commissioned for the building. If you visit, take a look at the Restaurant Francais and the American bar to get a taste of turn of the century opulence. In WS a picture of my traveling companions in front of a lighted window showing some of the interior fittings.
