Photographer's Note
This one was taken in Plitvice National Park. Some people don't believe that water can be so clear. This one was not taken underwater - it was taken right from the wooden walkway leading along one of the lakes. The fish can be almost grabbed by hand (haven't tried it though...), so if you fancy fishing... then the bad news is that Plitvice is a National Park.

Hi Michal,
You almost fooled me as I thought it was an submarine pic' ;o)
but you were clever enough to include in the comp' a piece of above water natural life, being the oliver tree branch :)
It's unbelievable this color!! but most of all the number of those fishies in the frame!!!! lucky them not to see fishermen in the area ;o)

The clarity of this is incredible.
I live in Croatia for most of the year and i thought the water was crystal clear on my beach in Orebic, until i saw this, i must
go up and check this wonderful place out.

hi, v nice composition and colors, i like the random pattern of the fish against the soft colors. the branch i think is a little bit distracting but it's not a big deal, i made a ws test anyway.

Fantastic shot Michal - such crystal clear water.
Like Pris said good to include the branch, it helps with the composition making the viewer realise that there is a terrestrial bank-side close by but out of frame. The fish look like roach (Rutilus rutilus) with the red fins and I think chub (Leuciscus cephalus), along with a nice mirror carp. Here, in the UK, the coarse fishing season ended yesterday so do you mind if I come over with my rods and do a little poaching?!! :-)

I think this photo is better with the branch because without it this photo looks like taken underwater.
