Photographer's Note

Tonight the start of a series from my stay in Croatia in 2006 starting with one of the highlights.
Plitvice National Park is one the world’s most magnificent national parks and justifiably world heritage listed. The only noise is made by the myriad of water falls (well plus the sound of many tour guides - but if you move off the main tracks you avoid them too. All the motorised transport (ferries, buses that are included in the admission charge) are electric. To get an idea of the scale note the walk way across the middle of the left hand side of the photo.

You spend your time shared between marveling at the scenery and deciding what photo to take next. This cluster of waterfalls is one of your first sights when you come in the main entrance - what an entry sight! This was the first photo (of many) that I took in Plitvice.
