Photographer's Note
yes I played a little bit with this picture...my first idea when I was taking this picture was to have a huge amount of sky above them...but even there was sunset the sun was too strong for this so the picture got this yellow tone (but I intense it a bit)and I decided to crop it beacuase it wasn't looking good for me since the sky was quite burned...
in the end after croping and intensing yellow I got this..
about the picture; this kids,hehe and some adults, climbed at this wall and had thier own competition of jumps... of course they are looking at sea beheath this wall...
I liked thier relaxed poses...the way they grouped each other and the way they were lookng at the sea and having fun...
the neverending story of sea time fun...
...
the picture was taken in the small village Zavalatica in the island of Korcula (one of the most beautiful islands in the whole Croatia, believe me)the village is so small and cute that even though you are staying there for just few days the locals will start to know you and greet you...

A very interesting shot Ana. I like the pp and the colors, and of course, your croping. personnaly, I would try to clean this image with neat image and add a little contrast to make it stand out a little more. I'll try a quick ws !

I like the post processing here it goes good with the time of day, your note is good too
I can see they are standing on the wall but its not so clear
I would either make the wall very dark or make it very visible
If you make it darker then it could be very mysterious , I also like there body language.

I like the colors of their skin, no matter if it's real or made up, it's wonderful, so full of life and interesting.
Also - the narrow crop, the noisy sky, the contrast and the frame - all great, I enjoy this picture very much.

Yes this look bit like a painting - it has quite a lot of grains and contrast. The yellow color is part of the deal when shooting at sunset - and it works in most of the photos - in this too, gives the photo warm feeling.. I like it a lot.. =) Regards, Jarkko
