Photographer's Note
Here is another welding picture, Also taken from the top of the construction we are working on.
Not much to say, a guy welding from a man basket and me spying.
PP: converted to B+W, clarifyed and framed, as usual.

Hello Harry,
Interesting series of men-at-work photos from Bulgaria. Your trademark B&W conversions suit these situations very well. Here the vantage point couldn't be better of course. Was this some sort of assignment, or a work-related trip? Regards,
Hakan

Hello Harry - wonderful combination of both the angle and perspective you had for this shot. The conversion to B&W contribute to giving this a real metallic feel, all the more appropriate considering the type of work this welder is doing. I don't mind the overexposed focus of interest here, as it does help to emphasize what we should be looking at, and the bright smoke adds to the excitement in this shot.

The bright and smoky subject really jump out in this photo and add to the photo. An interestly high angle, and once again I like your black and white work.
Cheers,
Dave

Excellent series of work photos. It's an original and worthwhile subject for TE. Your high POV is also a novel approach as we spy with you on the welder at work. As with much of your other work the use of the clarify filter suits the gritty feel of the images. Well done

I thought I'd take a wander in your portfolio, Harry and man, the fine work that I found there. Like this dizzying shot from above - perfect POV for dramatizing this man's perilous job. Really PRO stuff, and with an Izus 75 too.
Bravo,
Francis
