Photographer's Note
I do not remember if I have ever seen any mural by Banksy, so here the mural by the Bulgarian artist Bozko. TYhis mural is also well known and was already shown here. But I was glad when I saw it. As one can see, it is not in the best state.
Bozko, real name Bozhidar Simeonov, is a Bulgarian artist who lives and works in Sofia. Besides street art, he works in illustration, comic books, animation and set design. His characters are easily recognizable and strangely appealing in a morbidly adorable way.

I think I managed to see this just at the right time before the paint started to peel & the bar sign was placed. If you search my Bulgaria Sofia Images you can see how it used to look. Tfs!

It's a good painting, so it's a great pity that it has been partly quite seriously damaged. The owner of the bar should immediately remove that sign. Next time you come to Sofia this may be totally destroyed, so it was good that you took this photo now.

More and more street artists get international appreciation and usually because there are great talents.
It is a pity that this fascinating mural is in such a bad condition and unlike the sold work of Banksy is not on purpose. Incidentally, there will be a Banksy exhibition in the MOCO museum in Amsterdam until January 2019.

Such a bright colored mural! It will fit perfectly in my newest theme, “Street Art”.
I was thinking you may have framed it a little bit tighter because the details would be even more prominent but of course it would be possible to crop it in a workshop...
