Photographer's Note
The entrance to the Hotel Hyundai on Vitosha Mountain behind Sofia. Might add a workshop of the mountain peak itself taken further up the range. There are a couple of ski-lifts on it. This Hotel was closed and the lookout was disappointing. It's not a clear view, being obstructed by trees, and there was some smog shrouding Sofia. Apparently it's much worse in summer. Sofia was shrouded in a thick layer of smog. It was nice though to see clean fresh air as depicted here.

Hello Chris,
An agreeable snow landscape. Well composed making good use of the road as a lead-line. Good light management and fine control over white balance, not easy with all that white stuff about.

Bonjour Chris,
La distance entre la barrière et l'hôtel donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir la barrière, les arbres et l'hôtel au loin. Le reflet de la lumière sur la neige met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Chris,
Cela ressemble à un hôtel très sélect ou seulement certains privilégiés peuvent en profiter. Le regard suit le sentier dans la neige et s’arrête à la barrière, ce qui coupe l'inspiration.

Yes, this is a far more interesting aspect than the w/s, though that is interesting for scene-setting.
Here, you have given us a fine lead, funneled between the tall trees, with the focal hotel strongly placed. WE even have irresistible steps to lead to the door!
Good light control, preventing oe on the snow.

Good morning Chris,
both pictures show the heavy snow covered mountain and slopes.
Fresh white under favorable daylight, seems also as growing on trees...
My photo that you had critiqued today, was an experimental on a new camera back than, not my best.

The hotel's closure might be disappointing but the trip gave you a nice winter scene, My question is, what is Hyundai doing in the business of hospitality? I thought they made cars.
