Photographer's Note
Another picture from work, I am starting to like this, strange that i never thought about using my work camera for personal shots before.
This is simply a welder on the construction site at the paper plant where I am currently working.
PP: converted to B+W, clarified and framed.

Hello Harry
I find it very interesting and well made. With the PP(clarify tool) the impact to the viewer is bigger.I use too the clarifier, but never caught the same effect.Nice work.
Have a nice sunday,
Lucian

Hi Harry;
I've noticed a couple of your B&W's now with this clarified technique and I must admit- you have me a bit intrigued. What do you mean by 'clarified'- how do you do it?
The detail in the welders mask is quite impressive, with the addition of the smoke it makes for a very industrial shot.
What type of job in construction do you have that requires the camera?
All the best,
- Dan

Hola Harry,
No entiendo que esta foto no esté mas comentada o mas votada.
Me gusta la sensación fría y luminosa del acero y la acertada elección del blanco y negro para acentuarla. Asimismo destacaría la anónima frialdad del trabajador tras la máscara protectora.
Saludos,
Mirari.

Another great b&w. Youre using your camera for art, not documentation with these shots! They're beautiful, and very unique.

Hi Harry, this shot is simply superb it certainly deserves alot more attention than this, people just don`t know how to appreciate good work, it has an all metal feel kind of the old russian industrial revolution, composition, light, POV, etc all is perfect about it, well done again and keep them coming, regards, Salas

That's the title that made me open the thumbnail. And after the surprise, I enjoy the mood, the industrial atmosphere, almost scarrying with this mask. So original and risky in a certain way compared to the usual posts.

Hi Harry,
Wonderful B&W "men at work" gallery.
Here, I like very much the close-up with the worker, the smoke, the light and the sharpness.
Very interesting theme.

Hello Harry
your series related to working people is impressive. This image is one fine example of your talent : the intricate composition, the tonal palette, the dop management.
Congratulations
Emmanuel
