Everywhere in the country, the national flag was dancing in the sky, most of the time (except here !!) with the EU flag.
I suppose it was because joining the EU (on late January 1st) was a kind of rebirth for Bulgaria and I hope it will be, the country seems to need that...

De beaux contrastes de couleurs et le nuage vient équilibrer ta composition.

Ah la Syldavie... j aime cette composition avec un grand ciel bleu la couleur de l optimisme - en esperant comme toi que l union europeenne lui fera du bien -

You chose a very unique viewpoint here. The composition and placement of the flag pole on the corner of the frame is an inspired choice. I can't make my mind up about including the cloud. I like the balance it gives but am less enthusiastic about the over-exposure, although I see that was inevitable given the position of the sun. Still, it's another good minimalist image for your collection.

C'est une photo qui te ressemble... il est amusant ce petit nuage à droite comme une parenthèse qui s'ouvre...On imagine que la Bulgarie a besoin de l'UE...si on se refère simplement à la rouille qui mange le pilone !!!

This is a picture of optimism, of hope as you show it. The low POV of course is the best to show the fluttering flag...great compo. with the pole starting from the corner. Doubt if the appeal would have been the same without the cloud, it balances the flag very well.

Salut ,
The compo and colours are very minimalist, but very effective and attractive also. The only thing less great is those circles "spreading" from the top right corner, but I know how difficult is to get rid of them sometimes.
