Goeie morgen John,
nog maar eens ons prachtig Reesinghebos, met zijn kronkelende paadjes. Ondanks de nog fel-groene blaadjes is de aankomende herfst toch goed zichtbaar. De dorre ondergrond en vooral de lage zonnestand tonen herfstachtig. Goed kontrast tussen de zongekleurde voorgrond en de benevelde achtergrond. Mooie foto John.

Hai John, excellent color of this photo. I like the grren leaves and the red earth beneath. I like this photo than the one in the workshop. This one looks wider and more pleasing to my eyes.

I join others, the light on this photo is absolutely splendid, I'm impressed you could get so much light in the woods, I also appreciate here the good sharpness given the low 1/25 speed. I prefer this one to the WS version because the luminous aspect is more present here, and it's the real quality of this photo.

Wow, this really looks like a Hollywood studio setting with big lights illuminating the enchanted forest. Great rendition of the sunlight in this one, John, with fabulous cololrs and also a good showing of the foggy effect towards the back.

It is definitely very hard to make a good composition in the wood becuase of difficult light. Your image is wonderful. You caught a beautiful and poetic moment as the sun enlighted the center of the frame. In this way You get amazing tones of surrounding greenery. Very rich colors here, nice wet ambience and charming mists on the background. Marvellous Work.

Goedenavond John,
Wat een magisch licht valt er hier tussen de bomen door. Het zet het bos in een gouden schijnsel, dat mooi contrasteert met de mistige achtergrond. De kleuren zijn werkelijk schitterend. Prima werk!

John not to be hyng up over points per view but from the looks of this I would think that you shold have over 150 points on this gorgous photo. I love the lighting so much. Its so fresh and so inviting in every way. Thanks for posting John. A definite favorite of mine and a desktop background for pure enjoyment!!

Hi John,
A great continuation of your Forest series. Light is nicely bright and colours vivid. The resulting atmosphere is very joyful and optimistic.
I like the picture in the WS too, but I prefer this one because of better saturated colours.

Subliem effect. Ik vraag mij af wat effect die in b&w zou geven; een decor voor een griezelfilm. Op de vraag welke van de twee best is, geef ik persoonlijk de voorkeur aan deze; hij heeft meer diepte.

It is really incredible shot with fantastic colors of autumn and amazing lighting! I like the red leaves(branches?) laying on the path - they make a splendid contrast to the green plants. I like this one more than the second shot, maybe because of a better saturation of colors and better clearness of the image. But I think that both are very good!

It's an enchanted forest John! The color and lighting through the fog is just magical. It has such a purity to it and a feel of an unspoiled wood. It's so crisply and cleanly captured, too, adding to that. The complementary reds and greens are beautiful. And I can easily imagine a brightly red cloaked little red riding hood character moving down this path between these thin trees. It definitely is the better choice of the two images. Excellent job John.

Dit is een uitstekend voorbeeld dat de belangrijkheid van licht laat zien. Op een bewolkte dag zou de foto beduidend minder interessant zijn. Voeg daarbij de mist in de verte en je hebt een prima plaatje.

Congrats for this picture. That blue in the background is surreal. Also the saturated reddish brown...! Great post-processing, and nice forrest and fog...
Besides the light falling on the trees in the centerground, I think the touch of yellow and lime on the ground in the center of the pic works so well to add color contrast and dark and light contrast.
I too think this is one of the best nature shots, especially in terms of color -- but... find the bottom right section a little too dark and the center top a little overexposed. This contrast, however, works so well for the picture overall, that I'd have to leave it at that. Congrats for your nice work!

Hi John, This is a bit like what we called the ghost track as kids at Oakura Beach in NZ. It has an air of mystery about where it leads to. Good clarity and colours. Well delivered. Murray.

a rare moment where we have fog ahead, a spotlight in the center and you got this red of the road contrasting with the greens. vertical trunks is another beautiful aspect.
