Hallo John,
Ook op een grijze en bewolkte dag als deze zijn de spiegelingen in het water schitterend, natuurlijk ook omdat het water zo kalm was. De verschillende huizen vormen een heel mooi stadgezicht, dat goed in balans ook.

The length of the river is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings. There is a good contrast between the colours of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hi John.

As long as it goes, the canal takes a good stretch of the city for those who enjoy taking a walk alone or with a dog. A quiet atmosphere here, the two human figures enhance the frame. Typical winter grey colours, still warm enough to enjoy the outdoors. TFS!!!

Its interesting how some of these views you show us have SOOOO many people, then others have almost no people. the misty rainy air gave you a great diffused lighting, nothing wrong with that. I quite enjoy that. lots of depth, lots of color and reflections too. charming. cheers

Hello John,
The canals in Buges are so charming. I'm sure you could make a whole book just showing photos of them. :-) I am studying the architecture on either side of the water, and I like the different styles. Nice depth and reflections, too.
