Photographer's Note
Here is another picture I took last saturday afternoon in the "Hautes Fagnes".
As there was this tree with still had his leaves with automn colors, 50-60 cms snow on the floor and the light of the seen, I though to the 3 seasons in the title...
Also, as yestraday, we had 20°C... It looks like the summer is comming...

Bonjour Fred,
avec de telles photos, tu touches ma corde sensible, les beaux paysages avec de jolies couleurs et un tas d'arbres.
Photo très nette en tous cas.

Yes, if somebody in a bathing suit were running through the shot, you would have all four seasons in the photo ... Just joking. A nice framing you made, Fred, avoiding that this one looks "too simple". The positioning of the red bush in the foreground right, and the perspective across the untouched snow towards the trees make a pleasant ensemble with the blue sky.

Très belle composition. Les couleurs sont fantastiques et le décors de la régions toujours aussi agérable à regarder surtout quand il est parfaitement rapporté par des clichés remarcables.

Très bonne idée, belle réalisation, c'est peut-être la dernière fois cette année que tu peux la faire!!!
Non, j'espère que tout ne va pas fondre en une fois, en tout cas, ici, moins chaud aujourd'hui, à cause du vent, mais la neige dans les fossés ne fond pas!

The snow is still very deep in Belgium, Fred, and it is almost the niddle in the spring in my country. Wonderful contrast of colors and very good exposure of the white snow. I like the way all the lines meet in a certain off-centered point. Very good shot.

Que voila de belles couleurs !
Le soleil donne beaucoup d'impact à cette composition. J'apprécie cette luminosité.
L'arbre en avant-plan qui à gardé ses feuilles de l'année dernière contraste bien avec la saison.

marrant cette arbre au couleur d'automne?...belle temperature que tu as eue...esperons déjà avoir le printemps a son heure...belle profondeur ressentie par l'alignement des sapins...souvenir d'hiver...et bientôt souvenir de printemps ou tout rennait...bien vu ...amicalement BI

Une belle scène d'hivers Fred, la lumière est superbe et cet arbre coloré donne une vue différente pour cette période de l'année avec cette neige en plus, bien vu.

Il ne manquait plus qu'une autre saison, et tu avais les quatre saisons de Vivaldi !
Cette couche de neige est impressionnante, j'aime quand celle-ci n'a pas été encore foulée, elle garde sa pureté pour le spectateur.

Belle combinaison de couleurs en effet, cet arbre avec son feuillage rouge ouvre bien la vue sur la perspective formee par les sapins, c'est bien expose et offre un tres bon rendu.

Ik ben zeer blij dat de winter gedaan is Fred, maar dit is wel een zeer beeld van de laatste dagen van de winter 2004/2005, de maagdelijke sneeuw beneden en de rode beuken bladeren maken een fistijn van uw foto.

Hi Fred,
Interesting to see a tree like that amongst all the snow and green trees. Well spotted. Composition-wise I think this picture lacks something, the tree doesn't stand out from the background really, maybe it's just a question of sharpness, but I think a different angle could have improved the picture. Maybe if you had taken the picture from the left in this picture instead, you would still have good light on the tree and the "perpendicular" perspective might have put it in a stronger juxtaposition with the background. Hard to tell by just looking at this picture of course.
