Photographer's Note
One cannot decide whether those beautiful Gothic buildings were inspired by the gorgeous Brussels Lace patterns or vice versa.. This building is the city museum now, which was conceived in 1860 and inaugurated in 1887, situated on the Grand Place opposite the town hall of Brussels, in a building known as the Maison du Roi ("King's House") or Broodhuis ("Bread house") reconstructed by Victor Jamar in 1868. The building is counted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the rest of the square.
One room presents the nearly 750 costumes of the Manneken Pis statue. The Museum is open Tuesday – Sunday from 10am to 5pm. The photo was taken during the 'Magical History City' which is a 15-minute sound and light show and that makes the spectator relive the historical moments of the grand place.

Hello cagla
A superb take of the architecture on this building. The purple of the lights stands out well against the dark sky, making this a very pleasing picture.

hello Cagla

Hi Caglar,
A stunning building, with the magnificent purple colours and the wonderful delicate patterns in the building facade. I am always amazed at how solid rock can be carved to look like fine lace. Nice sharp photo with excellent colour.

wow, what a shot! A very good night capture. In fact your gallery is full with nicely framed photos where I enjoyed the use of light and colours. There are a lot to learn from your works. Here it is done with apt light and fine depth. Love the effect of lower POV. Excellent one. Thanks a lot. Please rectify my views in my photos if you have some free time...
Best regards.

Merhaba Cagla. The colours remind me of my recent White Night experience in Melbourne. A beautiful building made even more wonderful by the coloured light. Excellent clarity and impressive POV. Best wishes. Klaudio.

I hope i don't offend you know but this isn't the the townhall, the townhall is on the oposite side of the square and is having a very large tower. This is the kingshouse (broodhuis) and is the home of the Brussels City museum.
Btw lovely colorful picture, i walk twice a day over the square and it is still a amazing place.
