A charming atmosphere here, beside being an excellent composition. The fog and the prevalent brown colour make it very sweet and soft, and the sheeps really enrich the image. It looks like a Flemish painting...

Hello John.
Charming landscape that transmits a pacific and bucolic environment, I praise POV with this group of sheeps that seem to look attentivly at the camera, very nice effect with the reflections of the line of trees in the channel. The imgen has a great depth with the line of trees that gets lost in the distance in the fog. Precious these soft colors.

Dag John,

An another excellent winter's shot with a great depht. The alignements of trees and its reflections in the canal give a beautiful propsect effect. Very plesant elements of life with the animals in the FG. The fog well collected give a mysterious athmospher to the image.

Hi John,

Ik hou van deze rurale landschappen Polder, vooral als ik ga met de trein.
Ik zou de moeite waard de trein stopt voor een beetje en dan denk ik dat het liedje van Jacques Brel op het platteland. Mooie vooruitzichten met het kanaal en de aanblik van schapen voegt meer aan de samenstelling. Een mooie sfeer gecreëerd met de mist. Bedankt voor het delen.

Effectivement, ces chemins le long des nombreux canaux qui traversent cette région sont de vrais plaisirs pour les amoureux de la natures quelqu'ils soient, à pieds ou en deux roues... Et quand, en plus, on peut faire des rencontres bien sympatiques, ça ne gâte rien. Ces moutons ne semblent pas farouches du tout mais curieux de ta présence apparemment. Un joli et agréable coup d'oeil avec une atmosphère bien particulière. Merci John.

That's a wonderful pastoral photo John. The row of trees takes my eyes to the infinity through the foggy background. They also provide an excellent depth of field to your composition. Deze had ik een paar dagen geleden bemerkt.
Het is zoals gewoonlijk zeer sterk gebouwd met een interessante diepte dankzij het perspectief en de voorgrond. Maar wat mij vooral ontroert is deze vreemde en aangename atmosfeer... Zeer mooi gedaan.
Nog een prettige zondag in Vlaanderen.

this area along the canal is always attractive and interesting, the seasons and the lighting conditions bring fascinating and dramatic changes to its aspect, colours and atmosphere. I love how you've included and placed this group of cute and bewildered visitors in your composition.
