This photograph has been taken on week ago, we got a lot spring showers with a lot rain.
You can see in depth the flood between the trees, this is taken on two, mile of my home.
Maldegem is a very nice community, more than 22.000 habitant, on 20 km of the Belgian coast and adjoining at the Netherlands.
Maldegem was once upon a time a very important town. There were two village priests, one who took care of the souls of the northern part of the town and the other who blessed the southern half. In 1520 they were Johannes van Zuidt and Nicasius van Maldeghem. The latter was at the same time dean of Aardenburg. We can still see his tombstone in one of the walls of the church. There were also three chaplains, one for the altar of St. Barbara, the second for the altar of Notre Dame and the last for the altar of St. Peter. The revenues from the two latter altars were not sufficient for a chaplain. This meant these chaplains didn't always live in their parish but of course they did receive the revenues from their altar.

Alone during the springtime get we these super blue sky and these extraordinarily clouds

An another "mastre's piece" in your gallery with this very beautiful view of the Flemish polders. I like the ballance with an importnat part for this incerdible sky with an impressive clouds. Yes, these clouds are extraordinary, I have never seen this kind and we have loads of clouds in South East Asia. What a lovely shot with tremendous DOF and captured from a beautiful POV. The Cumulus and the alto stratus types of clouds against the blue sky is giving beautiful look and contrasts to the shot. Colors are vivid and light/exposure are perfect. I like the way you have kept the canal in the bottom left corner of frame but I suggest you to drag your sign little more to the right bottom corner.

I was watching your older photos,when I encountered on this one.Words fail me to describe beauty of this landscape.The cloud formations are just stunning.It´s a rare thing to come across such unbelievable shape of the cloud,so symmetric.You were definitely in the right place at the right time.

Hello John, it is so nice to watch coming out little white sheep...after the rain when it is cold still. The sky is so beautiful dressed in bright blue and the contrast is fantastic! Beautiful scenery!

Hello John,
this is a rather graphical presentation of the lovely and characteristic countryside. Each of the elements consisting the landscape has been rendered with a graphical quality as far as its colour, texture and placement in the frame is concerned. The skyscape is amazing, the huge cloud has a formidable shape and seems to have volume and weight too. I like very much how earth and sky are separated by the rows of naked trees and I love the strong colours. You've moderated the luminosity of the cloud and enhanced that of the landscape most effectively. Congratulations and thank you!
