The strong lines of the river and brightly lit street leading into the frame give a great sense of depth to the image, and I like how the scene is divided up into segments by the street patterns.
There's a real clarity to the shot that makes it look more like a model than a real city, quite an interesting effect.
I think shifting the framing to the left slightly to cut down on the trees on the right would improve it, but otherwise this is very well taken.

Fascinating view looking over Salzburg, where the lit streets make a bold pattern not necessarily equating with the most worthy sights to be seen. The exposure and contrasts are well managed giving us a clear view of pretty much all the city.

Great night shot! The lights certainly create a pattern that is interesting, and the night shot is a different take on the normal view of the city. One thing that I like is the small amount of light in the sky, which allows us to see the surrounding hills and is much better than a black background. Nicely done!

Great TLC as usual, Tan. I like the way you lead the viewer to the mountains behind following the lines created by the lights and the river. Thanks to the blue hour, the background is not dull. Still, I'd like to see a tad more light in the distance. Anyway, it's a nice shot. Congrats.

Nice work, you composed it well, pulling the streets and buildings into the river and the river and mountains into the castle. The oranges and yellows of the foreground lights look good against the evening blues of the sky, as well.

Hi Tan. Perhaps ^\\V would work a little better. Anyway great photo. You have balanced the exposure well to get a little detail in the sky as well. Well composed with excellent lead-in lines. Thanks for sharing.

Hello,
how wonderfull is Salzburg by night with your look. As you, i can't beleive St Rupert church and the fortress are not lightened!(There were some works at this time on St Rupert church walls that can probabily explain) The light is fantastic and the contrast of colours perfect. i just wonder what is the kind of smoke we can see dawn in the center of the picture.

Hi Tan,
Although it would have been preferable to have the fortress and other churches lit up, you obtained a superb exposure level here, with the lights muted and appealing as opposed to dazzling. I especially like the inverted V effect leading from the foreground. There is just the right proportion of blue hour sky to enhance nicely. Well captured, Tan.

A classic POV from Mozart's city although your uniqueness waiting for this almost past blue hour, Tan. The golden light penetrating out of the urban gorges is really great. You have a perfect light management without a single overezposure in the more bright areas. The detail of the V's in the composition and your title is quite funny. Good eye, but that is probably something more than natural in your profession.

Very very nice image! It's one of my favourite cities in Europe.
Great exposure, light and colours and the POV is fantastic. It allows us to see the city and the river with nice depth and the hill in the back contrasting witht he blue sky
