Photographer's Note

...well, ok, maybe he was taking a photo...

The building on top of the hill is the Gloriette, part of Schönbrunn palace in Vienna. When it had been built by Maria Theresia, it had no function at all, except for being beautiful. It reflects the shape and proportions of the palace itself and would have been seen as an equilibrium to the palace, to increase the harmony of the ensemble. Some years ago a Café opened inside, so if you have time to walk up the hill (about 15 minutes walk from the palace) you can enjoy a great view across Vienna.
