Photographer's Note

After days of snow, snow and even more snow the sun finally came out in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental. On the highest point -the Hohe Salve, 1892m high- all one could see was a bright white world.

The eyecather though was the Salvenkirchlein, the small church. Built in 1641 the highest pilgrimagechurch of Austria withstood many snowstorms and icecold nights. And now it was even more beautiful than normally, packed in snow.
