Photographer's Note
This is a picture of a shepherd's dog high on Tomorri Mountain. If you look closely he has a steel collar around his neck with spikes on it. The collar gives him great advantage when fighting the wolves. Wolf attacks on sheep and goats are not uncommon on these places and the wolf population has increased dramatically during the last 20 years which has seen a great demographical change with people leaving the villages and moving towards the cities or abroad. I have heard that some very remote villages have been completely overrun by wolves.
