Bread fruit trees are common on tropical islands, like here on Trinidad. I visited Trinidad with the French cruise ship Mistral. We flew from Paris to Guadeloupe and then cruised to Martinique, Santa Lucia, Barbados, Grenada and Trinidad during a week.

Thanks for reminding me of bread fruit! It used to be a delicacy in certain parts of India when I was growing up. We used to make excellent curries using it. Thanks for sharing
