Perhaps if I'd had such a view, I wouldn't have watched the final either! ;o)
It's a peaceful scene and I like the way the boat in the foreground matches the colour of the water. The sunlit surface of the sea also contrasts nicely with those big, grey, fluffy clouds in the back. The only thing that bothers me, is the fact that I find the boat too centered... but that's really a detail.

Hello Susanna,
Very good composition making good use of the boat drawn up on the beach to take us further into the image. I like the contrast between the different positioning of the two sets of boats and the shadows in the foreground. Very good colours and definition.

Hi Susanna, and happy New Year! A pleasant Caribbean excursion in early January, and a nice framing for this photo to use the foreground boat and its shadow to establish the shoreside context and to build a good impression of depth and perspective as the viewer's eye wanders towards the background of the scene that you are presenting here. A delightful range of bright and vivid colors, nice photo. It's a good thing Switzerland didn't make it into the world cup final, or you might have missed this shot :o)

Elle est pas mal ton image peut etre un peu trop centree mais agreable et c'etait une bien meilleure activite de se ballader dans ce decor que de regarder 22 joueur pousser la baballe dans la lointaine Germanie... Mais comme mon post de hier c'est pas trop le genre d'image qui me fait rever en ce moment, bon dis moi des photos de Zermatt t'en as plus ??? Pleeaaaaaaase ;-)
T'avais pas encore l'ADSL ou t'as change de fournisseur ? Soigne toi bien !

Hi Susanna,

I like this shot very much...the composition and POV are great, and what I like about it most, is the strange toning going softly into green...amazing effect it has on the atmosphere!

Nice how the boats match the water, it makes for a very unified color scheme. The objects are well arranged in the frame, except (as bibiweb points out) that the foreground boat is too centered. It's a pleasant shot that carries me, as viewer, right to that beach! Regards, Ken.
